As a WEEE/RoHS compliant company, Panini considers it necessary to promote the initiatives within its business network to improve the collection and treatment of WEEE within Europe. This is the reason why the company decided to take part in a non-profit organization, committed and qualified in waste collection, recycling and recovery targets for all types of electrical goods.

ecoR’it Consortium was founded in 2005 in Milan, to accomplish the European Directive on electronic waste disposal and WEEE Management. The Consortium comes from the efforts of qualified Information Technology Vendors, who planned the creation of a collective system able to operate under the terms of decree 151/2005 WEEE/RoHS.

In April, 2007, Panini became a member of ecoR’it Consortium, along with 550 well respected technological companies in the market. This membership clearly represents a confirmation of the “green commitment” that Panini is undertaking with the creation of a company-wide green policy. ecoR’it will help Panini to accomplish the WEEE/RoHS requests coming from Italian and international initiatives in the most sustainable way.

As member of ecoR’it Consortium, Panini will be a punctual intermediary, in the covered Territories, between customers and authorized collection points, to ensure the right electronic waste disposal.
