The Coronavirus created an unprecedented disruption to businesses of all types and sizes. The way of conducting business has changed and those who have adapted are seeing success, while those who are unwilling, or unable, to change face an uncertain future. Coronavirus also had some interesting impacts on Panini’s business.
Life has certainly changed for many of us due to the social distancing environment requirements of COVID 19. I am proud to work for Panini
The importance of a company’s mission statement should not be underestimated. It clearly identifies for stakeholders what the company intends to do with its resources.
I’ve participated in more fraud-related webinars in the past 8 weeks than the total number of trade shows I have attended in the last 8 years. The countless number of webinars solidifies what we (Panini) already know about fraud; the data and growth rates are simply staggering.
Today it’s important for financial institutions to partner with an instant issuance provider that has an integrated platform and flexible launch options of either contactless or EMV. Panini’s Instant Issuing solutions provide a streamlined user platform with both payment technology platforms.
I know I'm "old school," but whatever happened to having REAL communications with the people you're attempting to develop relationships with (including your colleagues)?
I've been working from a home office at least part of the time for most of my career. I've found some things work well, and other things not so well - for me, at least. I've found that some roles are better suited to working from home, just as some people are (and some are not). Has it really been 125 days since I joined Panini? Time does fly when you’re having fun!
Panini, known for innovation and thought leadership, certainly has demonstrated those important industry roles. At a time when financial institutions are striving to leverage technology to reduce operating costs, to build infrastructure to reduce fraud and risk, and to plan for the next generation of banking, Panini met the need with very exciting technology and a suite of value-driving services. And I was lucky enough to be a part of it all!
This April will mark my first full year as the Channel Marketing Manager at Panini! It has been an exciting first year so far working with the Panini team and our partners as a part of this new chapter.
Seems like a refrain for important, contemporary finance and payments conferences to bring an IT history superstar to the stage – someone who literally changed our lives with their creations.
A few years ago, I wrote an article discussing the very slow arrival of branch transformation within the North American financial services market. I have almost 40 years of experience selling to the banking industry and throughout that entire time span, banks have been talking about the branch of the future and need to improve the interaction with clients within the bank branch.
Some time ago I read this article and couldn’t help but let it guide me since, just as its author, I too work in Human Resources and, for a few years, I have been a runner. For my overseas friends, the text is in Italian and so let me try to provide a summary, also adding my personal opinion on its subject.
I admit to being obsessed with efficiency. If I am efficient, I can accomplish more in less time and with fewer resources.
