About Panini

WEEE - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

Panini's Environmental Policy

Panini is compliant with WEEE, the European Community directive on waste electrical and electronic disposal. Together with the RoHS precept, the WEEE Directive became European Law in February 2003, setting collection, recycling and recovery targets for all types of electrical goods.

WEEE instructions ask manufacturers to follow the European responsibility for collecting, stocking, transporting and recycling the products they produce, when dismissed. Giving instruction to manage the electronic waste, this directive helps to understand how to dispose the exhausted products, also taking advantage of a recycling and reuse policy.

As a manufacturer, Panini embraces the commitment to be first in line to contribute to the recycling process and environmental safeguarding.

One of the precepts given with this directive concerns the necessity to associate the company responsible to dispose electronic waste, to a specific national Consortium, in order to create a logical infrastructure for stocking, transporting and recycling the electronic waste. This entity is charged with the disposal, taking care of all exhausted products the company receives from its customers. To accomplish this request, Panini chose Ecor’It Consortium.
