The Panini Vision X check scanners, Panini Vision S and Panini I:Deal establish a tangible example of attention to, and respect for, the environment. All products are fully compliant with ROHS requirements and entirely manufactured without the use of hazardous substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium VI, PBB, PBDE).
VISION S: This solution has been specifically designed to help banks, financial institutions, data centers and outsourcing companies to succeed in their daily processing needs, for a wide array of documents, including checks, remittance documents, ticket restaurant, gift vouchers, lottery bills and coupons. Vision S has been designed and engineered following strict rules for environmental respect, being fully compliant with the RoHS Directive and adopting power saving features. Also, the Vision S power supply automatically adapts to different electric voltages (in all different countries), allowing the most efficient electric power use and therefore maximizing energy savings.
VISION X SERIES: Panini has invested along the entire value chain, with particular attention to total cost of ownership, reliability, ease of use, best image and recognition quality and new functionalities. Special attention has been made to environmental protection, with the implementation of Panini’s company–wide policy of green production. The Vision X Series has been designed with a power supply, branded by UL-Underwriters Laboratories, a U.S. not-for-profit, privately owned and operated product safety testing and certification organization. UL develops standards and test procedures for products, materials, components, assemblies, tools and equipment, chiefly dealing with product safety. Vision X power supply is classified 4th on an efficiency level as requested by California Energy Commission, the primary energy policy planning agency.
PANINI I:DEAL: The Panini I:Deal is Panini’s newest product taking advantage of the company’s new green production policy. Additionally, the product is shipped in a packaging designed to be completely ecological, made of cardboard printed with water-based inks, and the product’s power supply is classified as IV CAC class and absorbs the least energy possible while in stand-by mode. After it has been paused for 5 seconds, the I:Deal enters into “low consume” mode, ensuring real energy savings.
